Centralized Backup VCUCC hosts and provides backup services for University users and systems. VCUCC has implemented Tivoli Storage Manager to provide these services and manage its archive. The archive capacity is over 100TB, and most if not all backup and archive requirements can be met through this system. The tape libraries are connected via the VCUCC SAN, providing high performance and availability for backups and restores. |
